Hi! I’m Melissa and I’m so glad you are here!
You must be EXHAUSTED!
And I can’t wait to help you!
A little background on me… I graduated from Syracuse University with a BS in Communications. I spent my career in Advertising working for major publishing companies such as Conde Nast and Rodale but in 2015, my world changed when I had my daughter, Rowan. I very quickly became less interested in advertising and OBSESSED with all things baby and sleep. I found myself staying up all night reading articles, studies and learning tips and tricks from mom groups and bloggers on the internet. I couldn’t get enough and wanted to know EVERYTHING. I noticed quickly how important a set schedule was for my daughter and after implementing a few things that seemed to come naturally to me – Rowan was sleeping 12 hours a night before she was even 3 months old. My friends and family would often comment on how ‘lucky’ I was that Rowan was such a good baby and a good sleeper. But I knew there was more to it. I often handed out advice and chimed in whenever I heard anyone talking about their baby’s sleep struggles because for me, there was no greater feeling than helping out a fellow exhausted mama who was desperate for sleep for herself and her baby.
In 2018, my second daughter, Remi, was born. I put similar practices into play and by 14 weeks old, Remi was sleeping 12 hours a night and taking great naps. I knew this was not only something I had a good gut instinct for, but it was something I truly Loved. I had to take this to the next level and studied under pediatric sleep pioneer Deborah Pedrick and became certified by the renowned Family Sleep Institute - the rest is history…

ABOUT TINY SLEEPERS
I formed Tiny Sleepers with the intention of setting out to help parents across the country who are exhausted and confused and just don’t know where to begin. I believe in a ‘family led’ approach which means each family drives the direction of the sleep process. I realize that some of us live in a one bedroom apartment with shared rooms and neighbors, while others live in houses and have multiple children with different schedules. Some want to be incredibly hands on while others want the quickest approach possible. Just like every child is unique, so is every family. All parents have different beliefs and parenting styles which is why Tiny Sleepers doesn’t believe in a one size fits all approach. We work together and go over the things that are specific to your situation such as your child’s personality and temperament, your living arrangements and your parenting style and then I create a personalized recommendation and step by step plan for you to follow.
Sleep is food for the brain which will provide a lifetime of healthy benefits. Let's get you in control of your family's sleep. Sleep is also a learned skill. My goal is to provide you with all the tools so that as life goes on and your children continue to grow and change, you will have the basic foundation of healthy sleep habits in your back pocket.
